摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a band performance equal to or higher than the VSER characteristics of a mono-pole antenna in spite of miniaturization by making the prescribed part of a loop conductor in the state of a coil and inverting the winding direction of the spiral of a coil at the center point of the full length of the coil. SOLUTION: A loop antenna is formed of linear conductors 11, 12 each length of which is λ/4, coil conductor parts 15, 16 which is wound on dielectric poles 13, 14 and each full length of which is λ/4, and a coaxial cable 17 obtained by connecting one side of a center conductor 17a to one end of the part 11 as a feeding means and connecting a ground conductor 17b to one end of the part 16 through a grounding wire 17c. Concerning the parts 15 and 16, the spirally winding direction of a conductor is inverted from the center point of the full length of the coil to avoid generation of inductance components. Namely, since the full length of the conductors of the two parts 15 and 16 is respectively λ/4, the delay characteristics of a current excited by the loop antenna holds the characteristics of the square loop antenna of one wavelength composed of each edge of λ/4 wavelength.
