<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture display method by which reference and correction of a document picture can easily be executed and a stored document picture can efficiently be used and to provide a picture filing device using the method. SOLUTION: A picture filing device is provided with storage means (a picture input part 101, a layout analysis part 102, a picture recognition part 103 and a picture storage part 105) converting the content of a prescribed area extracted from an inputted document picture into code data in accordance with the type of the area, and display means (a picture generation part 104 and a picture display part 107) displaying the picture generated from code data in the area to which code data in the document picture are made to correspond.</p> |
