PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device without causing any peeling of an electrode part and a pattern even when being used while bending a lower electrode plate, an upper electrode plate or a leader terminal part and without causing any problems such as the increase of the number of parts and the complexity of assembling. SOLUTION: This coordinate input device is formed into a multilayered structure consisting of a thick insulating substrate 12 and a thin insulating substrate 13, the lower electrode plate 10 and the upper electrode plate 11 in which resistance layers 15 are formed are confronted to each other at a small interval and the position coordinate signal of a pressurerizing point is derived from the leader terminal part 18 with respective erectrodes 17 and a connecting pattern 28. In this case, the thick insulating substrate 12 is removed and the only thin insulating substrate 13 is used in the bending part of the lower electrode plate 10, the upper electrode plate 11 or the leader terminal part 18. Therefore, since the peeling or a disconnection does not occur even when bending the leader out electrode part 19 outwards or inwards and also the curvature radius of bending is reduced, the device is made compact.
