PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for compiling retail investigation by a retail terminal by providing a process for retrieving retail information included in a user's profile related with the latest use by a user and a process for preparing an investigation message for requesting an answer from the user based on the information. SOLUTION: This method comprises a process for retrieving retail information included in a user's profile related with the latest use by a user, and a process for preparing an investigation message for requesting an answer from the user based on the retail information of the user's profile. In this system, a large storage device 46 related with a central server 42 has a user's profile data base 50, and this user's profile data base 50 includes retail information related with the latest use of a retail terminal 12 by a specific customer. Also, the large storage device 46 related with the central server 42 has an investigation data base 54, and this investigation data base 54 includes an electronic file related with each kind of retail investigation question item.
