发明名称 METHOD FOR EVALUATING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively evaluate the change of display quality caused by applying vibration to a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: Brightness for every divided region of a liquid crystal display device 62 before and after application of vibration is measured and the rates of the brightness change at respective measured spots are quantitatively evaluated. Further, a light receiving cylinder 61 for brightness measurement is inclined at >0 deg. and <=60 deg. angle from a vertical direction toward a display picture in a principal viewing angle direction determined by an alignment film treatment and the rates of brightness change at the respective measured spots are quantitatively evaluated. Furthermore, a temperature in a vessel for evaluation is set to a range in which an upper limit temperature is lower than the phase transition temperature of liquid crystal by 10 deg.C and a lower limit temperature is 40 deg.C and the rates of brightness change at respective measured spots are quantitatively evaluated.
