PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device or a process cartridge or an image forming device provided with the developing device capable of easily preventing the erroneous transfer of a developer to a region corresponding to a character image forming part and a blank part of a recording medium in a latent image carrying body. SOLUTION: The prevention of the erroneous transfer of a developer is attained by impressing a developing electric field to make reverse polarity charged particles fly to an electrophotographic photoreceptor before forming a latent image and turning a developing sleeve 3 round at least one time, there after, carrying the developer 11 containing strontium titanate on the surface of the developing sleeve 3, performing the control of the carried quantity and the triboelectrification to the developer 11 carried on the surface of the developing sleeve 3 and transferring the triboelectrified developer 11 to the latent image formed and carried on the electrophotographic photoreceptor 5 by the developing electric field to make the latent image a visual image. |
