PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a tape to stably run by preventing a hub from freely moving without applying an excessive load on the hub with a simple structure which can be formed at low cost. SOLUTION: In a tape cartridge in which a pair of hubs 3 are rotatably supported in a casing main body composed of an upper casing 1 and a lower casing 2 and a tape-shaped medium 4 is wound around the hubs 3, a hub spring 8 made of a plate spring is provided on the inner surface side of a window member 9 which is provided on the upper casing 1. The center portion of the hub spring 8 is positioned onto the center of rotation of the hub 3, and held onto the window member 9. Furthermore, a ring-shaped R projection 3a provided on an upper surface of the hub 3 is pressed by both ends of the hub spring 8.
