<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the portable information terminal that efficiently applies display control to an operation menu of the portable information terminal, where a display available area of a monitor display device is comparatively small. SOLUTION: A user interface section 101 displays items which are choices on an LCD, together with information denoting on which of a top, middle and an end of the entire items the item is placed. When the item placed at the end and the item placed at the top are continuously displayed, they are displayed with information identifying the border between the end item and the top item and denoting the consecution of the end item and the top item. Furthermore, when items related to data entry are displayed, the items are displayed with information denoting as to whether or not the data entry is finished.</p> |
