PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a display region ratio by decreasing a package area of a liquid crystal driving circuit. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel, wherein a liquid crystal layer 20 is sealed in a gap between a 1st substrate 1 and a 2nd substrate 7 with a sealant 17, and wherein a liquid crystal driving circuit 13 for applying a predetermined voltage on the liquid crystal layer 20 is provided on the substrate, is characterized in that the liquid crystal driving circuit 13 is overlapped with both the 1st substrate 1 and the 2nd substrate 7. Moreover, the substrate has a recessed part or an opening part at the part of the liquid crystal driving circuit 13.
