PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element part designing device for easily executing the search of the cause of the impossibility of communication between a communicating part and a control equipment. SOLUTION: This element part designing device is provided with a display part 2 and plural communicating parts 3 connected through a communication cable 31 with a control equipment 6 for designing element parts necessary for the operation of the control equipment 6. Also, the device is provided with a communication check display part 5 for checking the presence or absence of the connection of each communicating part 3 with the control equipment 6, and for displaying the checked result on the display part 2.
