PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily peruse picked-up image and the photographing information, without reading images photographed on a film in the past. SOLUTION: With this camera, based on electronic image signals for which an object image is converted into electric signal and outputted by an area sensor 20, and display is made on an LCD monitor 7. Also, the object image is exposed on a silver film 29 and the image data of the object image picked up by the area sensor 20, and the photographing information corresponding to the image data are stored in a nonvolatile memory 45. Furthermore, with a CPU 46, a film number for indicating the order of a cartridge loaded to perform photographing is retrieved. Then, corresponding to a film cartridge retrieved by the CPU 46, the image data and the photographing information stored in the nonvolatile memory 45 are outputted to the LCD monitor 7 and displayed for perusing.
