PRODUCTION OF ENCAPSULATED TONER FOR ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce an electrostatic charge image developing capsulated toner excellent in developing and fixing characteristics and having a spherical capsule structure by using a plant for producing a toner by the conventional pulverization. SOLUTION: Pulverized toner particles and dispersed in a dispersion medium in which the toner particles are insoluble. A liquid compound soluble in the dispersion medium and capable of dissolving the bonding resin of the toner is added in the obtained dispersion and dissolved. A liquid medium miscible with the dispersion medium and insoluble or slightly soluble in the liquid compound is then added and the liquid compound is swollen in the toner particles. The swollen liquid compound is removed from the toner particles, the toner particles are made in spherical form and a capsule structure including the releasing agent is formed.
