PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic triplet lens camera apparatus capable of obtaining high-quality object separation and acquiring three-dimensional image information at a low cost by obtaining the depth information of an image picked up by a 1st image pickup means by referring to the image picked up by a 2nd image pickup means and the image picked up by a 3rd image pickup means. SOLUTION: A 1st image pick up device 1 and a main lens 4 mounted on a main camera are arranged along an optical axis 7. Besides, 2nd and 3rd image pickup devices 2 and 3 and sub lenses 5 and 6 mounted on a sub camera whose two focal distances, viewing angles and apertures are equivalent, are respectively arranged along the optical axes 8 and 9. The lens 4 and the device 1 constitute a 1st image pickup means, the lens 5 and the device 2 constitute a 2nd image pickup means and the lens 6 and the device 3 constitute a 3rd image pickup means. The depth information of the image picked up by the device 1 is obtained by referring to the images picked up by two devices 2 and 3 having a small number of effective pixels.
