PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing the deformation of an intermediate transfer body by a simple constitution, and capable of stabilizing the travel of the intermediate transfer body in a short time when rotating the stopped intermediate transfer body again. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a deformation preventing heat roll 17 arranged in a position (x) on the upstream side of a preliminarily heating plate 16 and the downstream side of an extending roll 8, on a traveling path of the intermediate transfer body 7, so as to held in contact with the rear side of the intermediate transfer body 7, and a deformation preventive heating blade 18 arranged so as to be held in contact with the rear side of the intermediate transfer body 7, in the position (y) on the downstream side of a heating roll 10 and the upstream side of a cooling device 14.
