PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce setting operations at operation start and starting the operation of controlling a panhead through one-way communication. SOLUTION: An operator selects a one-way communication channel 2 and simultaneously presses the selected one of camera machine kind selection members 8 of a panhead 3 and a panhead operation start/end operation member 7. Thus, an arithmetic circuit 10 sends operation start signals to the side of the panhead 3, recognizes the one-way communication and performs the operation in the state of neglecting a response from the panhead 3. Then, the arithmetic circuit 10 transmits the initial state of specified television camera and lens to the side of the panhead 3 and displays the initial state of a television camera operation member 5 and a lens operation member 6. Then, the display of the television camera member 5 and the lens operation member 6 pertinent to a function which is not provided in the specified television camera and lens will not be performed, the operation is neglected and the fact that an operation state at present is one-way communication is displayed at a one-way communication display device 9.
