PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension representation system satisfactory in operability and capable of registering an extension telephone set belonging to a different private branch exchange as the same extension representation group in a private branch exchange network. SOLUTION: Extension telephone sets of its own station and other station are registered in service information memories 24, 34 of each private branch exchange PBX as an extension representative group with priority. Each PBX is provided with communication means 23, 33 that make direct communication with other station. Upon the receipt of an incoming call to the extension representative number, an idle extension telephone set is retrieved according to the priority registered in the service information memory, and as soon as the idle extension telephone set is found out, it connects the incoming call connects to the extension telephone set.
