PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sound volume control while simplifying a circuit configuration and securing the dynamic range of audio signals. SOLUTION: An analog audio signal is converted to a digital signal and inputted to a DSP 2 later. After the DSP 2 performs signal processing such as equalizer processing or sound field correction, the number of bits of the digital signal is compressed by first volume processing and attenuation processing is performed. Afterwards, the digital audio signal is converted to analog audio signals L and R. The audio signals L and R are attenuated by electronic volumes 4L and 4R. The entire attenuation quantity is set by the attenuation quantities of DSP 2 and electronic volumes.
