PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly perform reproduction without allowing a reproduction system to cause temporal shift of each channel even when multichannel audio signals having different sampling frequencies for respective channels are recorded on a medium without setting the sampling frequencies at the same value. SOLUTION: In an audio information recording method, a sector is composed of a sector address disposed at the head thereof, a channel delay information disposed succeedingly, and a plurality of sample groups disposed further succeedingly. Each of the sample groups includes audio data for every channel. The channel delay information calculates a frequency flcm of the least common multiple(LCM) for sampling frequencies fs for all of the channels '0'-'n∼, and numerically expresses an amount of delay of sampled data measured from the starting time of the sample groups, taking one period at this frequency flcm as a unit.
