PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing managing device automatically storing a display drawing position together with a display scale according to a user instruction or at a specified time interval and easily reproducing its position range. SOLUTION: The central position coordinate, display scale and current date of a drawing just displayed on a display screen 101 are stored in a filing device 203 as a position history information at a specified time interval or user designation time by a drawing display processing means 116 and a position history storage means 117. The position history information, which stores an accident occurrence position or under-construction position, in the filing device 203 is retrieved by a relevant position retrieving means 114 and a position history reproducing means 115. Drawing information based on the position coordinate and display scale of retrieved information is displayed on the display by the drawing display means 116 while being expanded/reduced by a display editing means 118.
