PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serial-parallel converter which does not use a shift register and is fast and highly reliable. SOLUTION: A control voltage V is supplied from a PLL (phase-locked loop) 10 consisting of a phase difference detector 11 and VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) 12 to a delay circuit 40. The VCO 12 is formed by connecting plural inverters 13 in a ring shape, and the control voltage V corresponding to the phase difference between a reference clock signal and an oscillation clock signal is supplied to each inverter 13 so as to control the oscillation frequency of the VCO 12. The delay circuit 40 is formed by serially connecting plural inverters 49 whose delay quantity is respectively controlled by the control voltage V, and a serial signal S is also inputted to the inverter on the first stage. And, a latch circuit 50 responds to a latch clock signal obtained by performing frequency division of the reference clock signal and latches respective output signals of the inverters 49. A parallel signal P is outputted based on the results of this latch. |
