PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of lessening anteroposterior thickness of the light source device, requiring no large space for installation, and capable of securing sufficient luminance. SOLUTION: This light source device comprises a light emitting source 21 and a light guide body 23 on which the light from the light emitting source 21 is incident, and an object is illuminated with the light leaking out of the light guide body 23. The light emitting source 21 is mounted to an incident surface of the light guide body 23, and a light emitting surface 21a of the light emitting source 21 faces the inside of the light guide body 23, then the light emitted from the light emitting source 21 is lead directly into the light guide body 23. |
