RECEIVER FOR PERFORMING HIERARCHY SYNTHESIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver capable of correctly performing hierarchy synthesis on a reception side in the hierarchized transmission system of a digital ground wave broadcasting system. SOLUTION: This receiver is constituted of a storage means 10 composed of plural storage spaces for storing input signals for respective hierarchies, an output control means 20 for controlling the output of the stored signals for the respective hierarchies for the respective hierarchies and a monitoring means 30 for monitoring the storage state of the storage means for the respective hierarchies. The monitoring means 30 is provided with a memory capable of storage in terms of a queue, and when input signal data are stored in the storage space of a certain hierarchy, a prescribed flag for meaning that they are stored in the storage space is issued and successively stored in the memory. When the storage contents of the storage space corresponding to the contents of the memory are successively read and reported to the output control means 20 at the time of the hierarchy synthesis, the output control means controls the storage means 10 so as to synthesize a series of output signals based on a prescribed condition.
