PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deletion of data in an adjacent track even when a recording medium is mistakenly ejected during data writing. SOLUTION: A rotary member 7 is rotatably attached to a chassis 2, and a step part 3A and an engaging part 7b are energized always in an engaging direction (locking direction) by a coil spring 9. The rotary member 7 is provided with an arm part 7a, and the switching of a switch part 6 is performed by the arm part 7a. An ejection lever 8a is pushed in to press a part 7c to be pressed by a pressing part 8c, and the rotary member 7 is rotated against the energizing force. Thus, the switching of the switch part 6 is first turned off to stop the operation of data writing, then the locking of a base 3 is released, and the recording medium is moved together with the base 3 in an ejecting direction.
