PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain nickel oxide film, which is capable of reducing energy consumption and enlarging film surface and has easiness for handling and fine quality with reduced impurity by using a specific org. nickel compd. as raw material. SOLUTION: Nickel oxide film, which prepared from at least one kind of an org. nickel compd. expressed by a formula I, a formula II: Ni(OOCR2)2, a formula III: Ni(R4COCR3COR5)2. In the formula I, R1 is hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an alkoxy group, preferably hydrogen atom. A methyl group is preferable as the alkyl group. A methoxy group is preferable as the alkoxy group. In the formula II, R2 is an alkyl group. An ethyl group is preferable as the alkyl group. In the formula III, R3 is hydrogen atom or an alkyl group. Each of R4 and R5 is an alkyl group. An alkyl group composing an acetyl acetone is preferable as the alkyl group.
