摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more advantageouly provide a boiling water reactor capable of easily constructing a structure for reducing a height of a reactor vessel and reducing the reactor vessel volume to a reactor core dimension, in terms of econimical efficiency. SOLUTION: Channel boxes (hereinafter referred to as a box) 6 and separators 8 are the same in the mutual number, a radial dimension of a horizontal inscribed circle regulated by a shape of the boxes 6 is not less than a radial dimension of a horizontal circumscribed circle regulated by an outer cylinder of the separators 8, and the number and a dimension of fuel assemblies 5, the number and a dimension of separators 8 are regulated so that a coolant outflow state in the boxes 6 satisfies a coolant inflow condition in the separators 8. A short size shroud 20 is constituted so that a position of the cylinder upper end part becomes the same as a position for arranging an upper lattice plate 7. A separator connecting metal fitting 21 is arranged on the boxes 6. A separator lattice plate 22 supports the separators 8, and is fixed to a reactor vessel 1 through the inner wall part of a skirt 9b of a dryer 9.
