PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and easily input a three-dimensional coordinate. SOLUTION: This coordinate input device is provided with a light emitting element, an indicating tool 1 for indicating a three-dimensional position and a light receiving part 9 consisting of plural line sensors for measuring the three- dimensional position where the light emitting element exists. The three- dimensional coordinate where the indicating tool 1 is positioned is calculated by a microcomputer 13 based on a measurement value measured by the light receiving part 9.
