<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable traction machine capable of automatically laying a high rigidity cable such as 600 cores and 1000 cores, without arranging workers at intermediate traction machines. SOLUTION: A traction rope is connected with a tip of a cable. The tensile force applied to the traction rope or the cable when they are pulled is detected as a vertical component perpendicular to the pulling direction, by using a tensile force sensor 20. In order to control a traction speed of the traction machine in such a manner that the detected signal becomes equal to a previously set target value, control equipment provided with a storage part 15a and a correction part 15b is installed. The storage part 15a stores the difference F1-F2 between a vertical component F1 in the direction perpendicular to the pulling direction due to rigidity of the cable and a vertical component F2 in the direction perpendicular to the pulling direction due to rigidity of the traction rope. The correction part 15b reads the difference from the storage part, on the basis of an output signal from an outer diameter sensor 40 detecting the passing of the connection part of the traction rope and the cable, and subtracts the difference from the vertical component applied to the tensile force sensor when the cable is pulled.</p> |
