PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the same mail from being received plural times for a harassment by canceling the reception of the same mail from the same transmitter within a fixed time. SOLUTION: An address storage part 104 temporarily stores the transmitting source address 9a of an electronic(E) mail 9. An address retrieving processing part 102 retrieves whether the transmitting source address 9a of the E mail 9 coincides with an address stored in the address storage part 104 or not. When the address 9a of the received mail 9 is not stored in the storage part 104 as a retrieved result, the address 9a is stored in the storage part 104 and stored also in a mail box 125. A mail 1251 coincident with address data is retrieved from the mail box 125, and when the same mail has been already received, the received E mail 9 is deleted.
