PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data carrier capable of suppressing the destruction of internal parts such as an IC chip even when strong vibration or impulse is applied from the outside. SOLUTION: The data carrier composed of a circuit board 3 packaging an IC chip such as a flash memory for which any backup power source is not required, antenna coil 4 made of copper, for example, arranged while surrounding the circuit board 3, first resin 5 of comparatively hard ABS resin or the like for sealing the antenna coil 4 and second resin 6 of silicon resin composed of materials comparatively softer than the first resin 5 so as to seal the circuit board 3 while surrounded with the first resin 5 is provided. Thus, even when the strong vibration or impulse is applied from the outside to the data carrier, before propagating the impulse from the outside to the circuit board 3, it is attenuated by the second resin 6 composed of soft materials and the destruction of internal contents such as IC chip is suppressed. |
