PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a direct function check of a frame processing circuit in the communication controller. SOLUTION: A transmission system circuit 30 generates n-bit parallel data 20f required for a function check of a frame processing circuit 19 and gives the data to a phase conversion circuit 32. The phase conversion circuit 32 that receives the parallel data 20f generates test purpose parallel data 20h with a phase optionally selected among n-kinds of phases and gives the data 20h to the frame processing circuit 19 via a parallel data control circuit 18. Thus, a function of the frame processing circuit 19 can be checked by parallel data 20c-2 with an optional phase.
