PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance user-friendliness of the radio communication terminal that can be communicated with other slave sets by registering a slave set to a base station. SOLUTION: When a slave set registration mode is set and a telephone number and a password are entered, input data are transmitted to a master set (SA1-SA3). When receiving registration information such as all slave set numbers having already been registered in the master set as extension numbers used for extension speeches from the master set ('YES' in SA10), slave set number registration processing is conducted (SA12). The slave set number registration processing is conducted by storing the received registration information to a telephone directory memory storing telephone directory data, such as telephone numbers of communication opposite party entered by the user as new telephone directory data. When an extension is used a slave set number of other slave set registered in the same master set is called and used from the telephone directory memory through an operation similar to the entered telephone number.
