PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently perform the cleaning of a pressure roller and to prevent the generation of image staining due to remaining toner or the generation of a wound jam of a recording material to the pressure roller. SOLUTION: A cleaning roller 22 for a pressure roller 13 is constituted so that a surface layer member is wound around a mandrel through an acrylic based double coated adhesive tape. The surface layer member is made to a sheet of a heat resistance aramid fiber. The mesh sheet is wound around the mandrel and the final one round part thereof is fixed to the sheet of the under layer with the acrylic double coated adhesive tape.
