PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid enlargement of a device as much as possible and to quickly rearrange pixels constituting images. SOLUTION: A column address W is decoded in column decoders 3C1-3C4, the arrangement of the pixels to be written to a memory cell array 5 is rotated in a rotation circuit 141, and the rotated result is written to the memory cell array 5 corresponding to the decoded result of the column address W. Then, a column address R is decoded to the decoded result different from the decoded result of the column address W at writing in the column decoders 103C1-103C4, the pixels stored in the memory cell array 5 are read corresponding to the decoded result and the arrangement of the read pixels is rotated in the rotation circuit 142 and outputted.
