PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the tact time by reducing the chance for waiting a head in the part take-out operation. SOLUTION: Two tray feeders 5a, 5b feeding same parts are disposed at a part feeding section 5 and a head unit 7 sucks a part from these feeders 5a, 5b and mounts the part on a printed board 3. Each feeder 5a, 5b has a plurality of trays 6 and a chuck member 37 sets the tray 6 at a specified part feeding part. During mounting operation, position of the chuck member 37 is checked based on the output from the encoder 36 of a draw-out motor 35 for driving the chuck member 37 and a decision is made whether the feeder 5a, 5b is operating to replace the tray 6. A controller 40 controls the head unit 7 to suck a part from the feeder 5a (or 5b) which is not operating to replace the tray 6. |
