PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish synchronization at a high speed by shortening time required for the search of a spread code phase. SOLUTION: At the time of acquiring the synchronization the spread codes of different phases are simultaneously supplied to respective complex correlators 11-14 and a processing for obtaining correlation relating to the phases is parallelly performed. Also, the entire phase range is divided into four search ranges and the respective search ranges are respectively allocated to four correlator units 1-1-1-4. The respective correlator units 1-1-1-4 perform the search operation of the phase only for the allocated search range. Then, based on the respective output of the complex correlators 11-14 provided for four each in the respective correlator units 1-1-1-4, a synchronization decision device 2a judges the synchronization of the spread code. |
