PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver capable of easily selecting a program in broadcasting, for which the number of the programs broadcasted within one channel changes with time zone band. SOLUTION: At tuning 102, whether or not the plural programs are transmitted by the channel is determined by the reception data, and when it is determined that the plural programs were transmitted, the video images of the respective programs are decoded and at the time displayed on a screen and a user selects one of them and selects the program. Also, when it is determined that plural programs were transmitted, text information such as the title information of the respective programs is displayed on the screen, and the user selects one of it so as to make the program become selectable. |
