PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structured display system of video images and the structured display method for enabling a user able to further view detailed video images any time as desired, while viewing the digest of the program of a single day. SOLUTION: This system is constituted of a TV monitor 11, a remote controller 5 and a structured display device 20 of the video images and the structured display device of the video images is constituted of an infrared light receiving part 6, a CPU 7, a video storage device 8 and a decoder 9. The CPU classifies a series of original video images into a digest part and a non-digest part by the comparison of an index value generated from the video images and stores them in the video storage device. Also, when the user presses the detail display button 51 of the remote controller, it is reported to the infrared light receiving part by infrared rays through the infrared ray output part 52 of the remote controller, reported information is transmitted to the CPU, the video image sent out from the video storage device to the decoder is switched to the video image of the non-digest part and the video image of the non-digest part is outputted to the TV monitor. |
