<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an abnormality of a short circuit of a pair of coils in a torque sensor which is constituted to detect a torque on the basis of a transient voltage generated to a connection part between the coil of a bridge circuit and an electric resistance. SOLUTION: Only a control voltage V2 of a rectangular wave is output to a transistor T2 at a timing when a torque is not detected, and an output voltage V3 is A/D converted and read with a timing synchronous with a fall of the control voltage V2. A short circuit of coils 10, 11 is detected on the basis of whether or not the output voltage V3 is equal to a power source voltage VDD.</p> |
