CONTROL METHOD FOR ROUTER AND CONTROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the control method for a router that has robustness against a fault or an error on a network by avoiding a routing lock and to provide the controller. SOLUTION: A router is provided, which routes a packet from its own station node to an adjacent node by using a routing table including a routing probability to each adjacent node and uses ant agent to build up the routing table through learning based on an ant-net algorithm. A controller 10 of the router executes at least an attenuation method processing that updates a routing table by periodically decreasing all routing probabilities so as to approach them to a uniform random probability or a negative feedback processing that updates a routing table by decreasing all the routing probabilities so as to approach them to the uniform random probability when a trip time from its own station node to a destination node is longer than a threshold.
