PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lift up a sensor module simply and easily without requirement for lifting it up from the underwater for its cleaning, by mounting a joint adapter at the front end of the sensor module and fitting a cleaning device through it. SOLUTION: A joint adapter 2 is mounted at the front end of a sensor module 1 through the screws formed at both the sensor module 1 and the joint adapter 2. The cleaning device for the sensor module 1 is fitted on the other end of the joint adapter 2 through a mounting screw, at the front end of which a cleaning brush 3 is fitted. This cleaning device is provided with the cleaning brush 3, a brush holder shaft 4, a feed screw for vertical lifting, and a geared motor. At the time of using this cleaning device, the sensor module 1 previously- mounted with the cleaning device through the joint adapter 2 is set in the water to be measured to clean the sensor module 1 with the cleaning brush 3 as required.
