The file is made from a recyclable supple material in two layers, one of which is cut and folded to form concertina pleats (16) along three sides. The upper ends of the pleats when the pocket is made up have V-shaped anti-tear notches (10). After filling, the pocket file is closed by a flap at the top being inserted into a slit in the front.
