PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain improvement in efficiency for constructing a distributed system by providing a mediator agent for performing the adjustment of respective components, and providing each component with a first communication means for communication with the mediator agent in a predetermined format. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a mediator agent MA for providing cooperative processing by adjusting respective components through wrappers 10 and 30. The agent wrappers 10 and 30 mainly play the role of communication functions with the mediator agent MA. As the first communication means, a communication part 11 communicates with the mediator agent MA in the predetermined format. An access part 12 performs the local processing of each component such as an inquiry due to SQL to a data base or http access to a Web server. Thus, plural existent systems such as legacy system or package software can be easily linked by using the mediator agent MA.
