PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accidents during operation by screwing the subslot cover and the distant piece of an electric rotating machine by means of a screw pin having an incomplete threaded part driven from the subslot cover side thereby preventing the subslot cover and the distant piece from falling. SOLUTION: The rotor for electric rotating machine comprises a plurality of coil slots 4 made in a rotor core, subslots 5 made in the bottom face of the coil slots, a subslot cover 8 arranged above the subslot in order to separate the coil slot from the subslot, and a distant piece 9 fixed to the subslot cover 8 in order to regulate axial movement thereof, wherein the subslot cover 8 and the distant piece 9 are screwed by means of a screw pin 10 having an incomplete threaded part driven from the subslot cover 8 side.
