The endoprosthesis has a one-piece tubular structure with zigzag lengthwise elements (3a, 3b) extending basically parallel to its lengthwise axis (1a) and with their tips (5a, 5b) joined by intermediate connectors (7a, 7b). Adjacent lengthwise elements are connected by crosspieces (13a, 13b), and are separated by spaces (23) which expand to form open cells when the endoprosthesis is deployed.
