PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time for printing plural copies of images decorated with complex editing operation. SOLUTION: In displaying a printing designating picture when the printing of an image is instructed during executing an image editing application, an input is waited (S501). At the startup of printing, it is judged whether the designated number of printing copies is plural or not (S505). In being plural, data is rendered and cached (S507). Until all the copies are printed, cached image data are repeatedly read and sent to a printer driver (S508).
