PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small-sized and lightweight display device which is easily attachable and detachable to and from the daily used spectacles of a wearing person and enables the wearing person himself or herself to adjust the mounting position to the spectacles. SOLUTION: Pads 6 of a display unit 2 are disposed on the outer side surfaces (the surfaces opposite to the face) of the spectacle lenses of the spectacles 1 and the pads (retaining parts) of clamps 3 are disposed on the inner side surfaces of the lenses. These pads hold the lens faces, to hold the display unit 2. The mounting position of the display unit is so regulated that display light is reflected by a combiner 5a and that display images appear on the slightly lower side of nearly the eye front of the wearing person.
