摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic transferred material excellent in heat resistance, not causing shrinkage deformation particularly even at high temperature and sticking in a fixing step and excellent in image quality. SOLUTION: A covering layer of a thermoplastic polymer which has 71-120 deg.C glass transition temperature and melts at <=265 deg.C is disposed on one side or both sides of base paper to obtain the objective electrophotographic transfer material. The coating is formed by melt extrusion laminating of the thermoplastic polymer and the polymer is preferably a polyester. Electrostatic latent images corresponding to separate colors formed successively on an image carrier are successively developed with toners having separate colors and the resultant developer layers are primarily transferred to an intermediate transfer body in the electrostatically laminated state. The color toner images multiply transferred to the top of the intermediate transfer body are secondarily transferred to the electrophotographic transferred material by a bias transfer roll with an impressed transfer voltage whose polarity is reverse to the charge polarity of the toners.
