The energy generator has a vertical mast (7) with a rotating carrier (8) at the top, which supports cantilever arms (2) with sail masts. The diameter of the carrier is 1/3 of the overall size of the plant. Wheels (11) on the outside of the carrier rotate on a round rail (12). The arms project radially upwards into the air. A motor is fastened to the side of a central toothed gear (14), and is controlled by a wind vane via a contact maker. The motor engages into a spur wheel via a worm gear.
