Photo receiver array testing method, writing charges into integration capacitors of selected photo receivers, reading charges, and comparing corresponding digital values with expected values

Method involves multiplexing first test voltages with outputs of photo receivers of the array (104) and writing charges into integration capacitors of given photo receivers by connecting the first test voltages with outputs of the photo receivers. Charges of given photo receivers are read from integration capacitors by connecting outputs of photo receivers with charge transmission stage (110), and converted to analog voltages. The analog voltages are converted into digital values using an A/D converter (116), and the digital values are compared with expected digital values. An Independent claim is provided for a corresponding test arrangement.
