<p>A device for use in treatment of hair comprises a base sheet (10) having an edge (11) from which elements (12) project. The device is utilised to separate selected strands of hair (15) from other hair (16) so that treatment can be applied to the selected strands of hair while application of the treatment to the other hair (16) is prevented. In use, the edge of the sheet is located adjacent root ends (17) of the selected strands of hair with the projecting elements (12) entering spaces between the root ends. A layer of adhesive (14) is provided to adhere the selected strands to the sheet and a cover (18) is provided to cover the selected strands. Adhesive may also be provided to adhere the sheet to the other hair and adhesive may be provided on the cover to adhere the cover to the selected strands. The edge (11) of the sheet may be of concave arcuate form.</p> |
